All academic programs have the opportunity modify their mission, outcomes, and the methods of assessment. As the 2011 - 2012 assessment of learning outcomes begins, Academic Development and Assessment assists in creating plans for program improvement. Chairs/Directors review and approve minor modification to the outcomes and methods.

Results from the previous outcomes assessment cycles provide baseline information for assessing 2011-2012 year improvements of academic programs. Chairs/Directors review and approve outcomes progress, establish a plan of action, and provide evidence of program improvement.

Following 2011-2012 assessment, all departments involved in general education student learning outcomes have the opportunity to make minor modifications to the outcomes and methods of assessment. As the 2011-2012 assessment of learning outcomes begins, the Assistant Vice President for Academic Services assists in creating plans for program improvement. Chairs/Directors review and approve minor modification to the outcomes and methods.

The Council makes recommendations to the Assistant Vice President for Academic Services who approves outcomes and methods.
